We had a good Drupal Camp Shanghai! The heavy rain on Sunday didn't stop the most active local Drupalers from getting together to enjoy this event. In all, over 60 people attended over 12 sessions and discussions.

Within the rooms you could see knowledge virally spreading throughout the attendees as well as connections being made by people from different companies and countries.

Drupalists all know this already but ... Keiran Lal (AKA Amazon) is the Drupal Association Fundraiser chieftain (and community guy at Acquia).

What might be news is he will be representing the Drupal community at a heap of event coming up and is holding a stash of Darth Drupal stickers to promote the noble Open Source Content Management System we use each day. The stickers are the next piece of consumer-oriented collateral created from Raincity Studios' Steve Krueger's almost legendary design (see SXSW T-shirts for more) and rumours of more Star Wars characters underway persist.

In the predatory world of marketing, there are fewer weapons potentially more potent or futile than the humble t-shirt. Without waxing on about the nuances of fine shirt design, (and considering the time) I'll defer to the LA Times' Tony Pierce who offers comments on the work of young Drupal Jedi in training Steve Krueger ~ indeed the design skills are strong in him ~ from Web Scout - T-shirt fashions of SXSW Interactive

Darth Drupal - And finally, the best T-shirt that was released at SXSW, in my humble opinion: Vancouver's Rain City Studios (sic: Raincity Studios) combined the glasses from the Drupal logo with the Sith Lord you love to hate.
