Open Source Camp Beijing - Dec. 22
Blog
The good work in China continues with Raincity Studios participation in OpenSourceCamp Beijing coming up on Dec. 22nd 2007 from 13:30 to19:00.
You can find all the details (including location map and public transit directions) at the OpenSourceCamp Facebook Group and (I suspect) you can follow along with on-site blogging by the RCS crew.
As a company built on open source software, and advocates of transparency, Raincity Studios is pleased to participate in the knowledge exchange.

I don't know if you've been following the evolution of the Drupal Association, but things are shaping up nicely, thanks to many hard working peeps.
The Drupal project began as a hobby project of Dries Buytaert, first released as an open source project in 2001. Since then, the project and surrounding community have experienced exponential growth. By 2006, it became clear that Drupal needed some sort of body to help manage the infrastructure, funding, and promotion of the community-driven project in order for it to continue to flourish. And so, the Drupal Association was born.
You can now purchase your annual memberships to the Drupal Association for $30 USD for individual or $100 USD for corporate.
Product Development vs Service Provider: Raincity Studios, a Drupal service provider since 2004!
BlogA question that has been growing in popularity since we started in early 2004. I recall Boris Mann and I debating this some time ago, before Raincity and Bryght even had offices...
Drupal product development vs product service provider. What is the best route to take for an entrepreneur? For myself the answer was pretty easy: To create a reputable open source service provider firm! It is my calling. Why? Simple! I am a business developer, a marketeer and somewhat of a visionary (and arrogant apparently). I'm not a very talented coder or designer, I know my basics but I am passionate about the business development and enabling clients and talent to work together.
