Raincity'll be Taking Northern Voice by Storm

Blog

In the seemingly endless stream of meet-ups, conferences, un-events, random occurrences and edu-tainment of all kinds, there is one event which reigns supreme and I posit is Vancouver's must-goevent.

Anyone interested in: a) social media creation, b) meeting collaborators in an unpretentious environment, c) good times - should really show up for both days.

8 Marketing Cases Presented in 10-15 Minute Stints

Last night I attended Vancouver's first CaseCamp. This was, of course, loosely structured from the ad-hoc, un-conference ways of BarCamp, with a focus on marketing that makes use of technology. There were about 40 participants and only 8 presenters. All was done and wrapped within 4 hours, which I felt was a perfect amount of time. Each person presenting a case was timed at 10 minutes, give or take a few, followed by a 5-minute question period.
