'Tis Sad But True…
Sitting around and chatting with my friends and colleagues here at Raincity about this next move for me is one thing, but to blog about it, speaking about it in a more public way, makes me feel like one of those folks hitting the retirement stage and announcing to the crowd, after 40 years working for the company, "I have enjoyed my time here, and now, I must move on to the next stage of my life…". This, after all, is true in essence, but is quite cliché.
I have been with Raincity Studios for the better part of a year now, and it just happens to be one of those times in one's life to say: time to move on.
To speak of the fun I've had and what I have learned over the last year would be rather understated – I have had a blast and have gained so much. Thank you Scales for giving me this opportunity. We've come a long way from that little bar in Torino where the conversation all began.
I have traveled a fair bit in my role for the studio and have met some fantastic people, but I feel most fortunate to have worked with the production team at Raincity – to witness the stellar work they churn out is one thing, but these people are quality - I will miss you.
I hope to cross paths with those of you whom I have met along the way. There's this thing called the internet, so I think this desire will come with some ease... You can find me on the various places I hang out: my blog, flickr and TCR.
