Deep Rock Drive launches - join today and experience the future of music!

Blog
created on 周一, 2007-10-22 21:33

Bryght has been helping out with Deep Rock Drive so we're thrilled at the launch of this cool music-related Drupal web app. Join today and check it out! More later!

From Come in, we’re open!–The DeepRockDrive Blog:

QUOTE

Everything at DeepRockDrive revolves around the community of artists and fans, so growing that community is our #1 priority. With our doors open, we can welcome new music lovers from around the world, who can create petitions for the artists they love, and vote on the petitions that other fans have created.

Together, we want to get petitions to 1,000 votes so that DeepRockDrive can invite the artists to play a live interactive show. While we work together toward that goal, we’ll be doing some free promotional shows to help us ramp up the capacity and the interactivity at DeepRockDrive live performances.

Whether you like rock, hip-hop, jazz, country, classical, opera, folk, children’s tunes, or any other genre of music or live performance… we can’t wait to see you there!

SXSW Wrap-Up

Blog
created on 周五, 2006-03-24 10:02 Well, internet spring break is officially over. The ringing in my ears has stopped, all the geeks are back banging away at their keyboards and counting their money piles, musicians the world over have had their fill of tech talk, and my liver is speaking to me again.

SXSW was an awesome experience for Bryght. Colin and I went down for both SXSW Interactive and SXSW Music to launch our new Backstage product, connect with new resellers and partners, and spread the Drupal love. We had a booth in the exhibit hall and Colin gave his talk about Music 2.0 which drew quite a crowd for a lunchtime session. Mmmm, BBQ.

We were accompanied on the trip by Robert Scales and Jeremy Hubert from Raincity Studios, as well as young upstart Will Pate. Scales was workin' it during Interactive and drummed up several new clients as well as worked hands-on with a couple existing ones like Predixis and AskANinja.com (both Bryght sites). We spent our days working hard and our nights networking and playing harder.

Music 2.0 presentation slides

Blog
created on 周一, 2006-02-13 12:23

This weekend I had the pleasure of giving a talk on the future (as well as the history) of music distribution and recording technology for the Northern Voice conference. I said I’d put my slides on line, so here they are, attached to the bottom of this post.

I also collected a bunch of links on del.icio.us when I was doing some research, and you can see those here>>.

Consider all materials Creative Commons, and thanks to those who could make it down for the talk!
