Drupal Con Brussels - Day 2, Afternoon

The SAP Lounge has been a great venue. It’s a beautiful space, but some of the rooms are extremely warm, almost like sitting in a sauna for extended periods of time, but still beautiful.

Back to the conference sessions. I attended two sessions this afternoon. One by Jose A Reyero on http://drupalcon.org/node/59 >handling multilingual sites and content with Drupal. And the second session by Moshe Weitzman titled “A fully baked wiki module for Drupal”.

I was able to attend the session by Moshe Weitzman titled " Fully baked wiki module for Drupal". I don't get too exited though, because we still don't have one yet. This session was about getting together and working out requirements and an action plan for creating one. There should be a group up for this soon so be sure to keep checking the drupal groups.

If you're looking for wiki functionality in Drupal right now your best options are the following:

Drupal Con Brussels - MultiLingualism with Drupal

Blog
created on 周二, 2006-09-26 10:17

Jose A Reyero led a session on handling multilingual sites and content with Drupal. He talked about some of Drupals current multilingual abilities and where its lacking.

As Jose presented, ultimately there are two options when developing multilingual websites.

  • Separate websites, each with its own unique content, or
  • One website serving content in multiple languages

The second option proposed is what Jose and many members of the drupal community seek to achieve.
