Kieran's intensity and focus is amazing. But of course I would expect nothing else from a fellow Systems Design Engineering grad. The story I hear is that Zack met Kieran at BloggerCon III and the rest is history. Expect much, much more from the Civic Space developer team now that Kieran is focusing their efforts.

Jonathan from Firebright is razor sharp technically from both a business and technical sense. And it doesn't hurt that lots of our other views align too. It was a pleasure to hang with him (over far too many beers) at OSCON and DrupalCon.

I found out that Drupal user and Identity Woman Kaliya is a Vancouverite from Kerrisdale! I think she was skeptical about the Drupal community in general (and vice versa) but by the end of the week, I think the mutual wooing/Koolaid drinking worked and I think as Boris wrote, we will all move forward and work together better now.

The most highly anticipated Drupal event of the conference will be tonight! Message to people like Kieran who like drinking with Canadians: there will be lots of Canadians drinking (the whole Bryght crew) :-) Call me if you get lost or don't know where to meet at 604 729 7924

1. 8:30 Meet after FREE Drupal online community and citizen journalism BOF at the convention centre room D136, we will take the Max and then walk to Bar 71
2. 9p.m. meet OSU/OSL folks at Bar 71 at the end of their free event
3. From there we will go to Shanghai Tunnel, Berbati's Pan, Kell's and Ash Street Saloon (not necessarily in that order!)
4. Henry's Tavern to close out the night

After the close of Gnomedex, we're organizing a giant meet up before the Canadians have to run for the border.

Matt Mullenweg of WordPress was afraid of the Canadian wrath, so we're combining forces to take over the world, starting with the lobby of the Fairmont Hotel today at 6:30pm. Check the Gnomedex Wiki for updates.

I've discovered that, as I suspected, Matt really is evil: he made our announcement on the wiki gigantic and red.
