Vancouver Tech Women and Launchers Continue to Surprise
At the risk of missing on a few details and publishing an incomplete list of conversations, anecdotes and contacts ... suffice to say that Launch Party 3 was a raging success full of new faces and the best and brightest Vangroovy hopes as listed in Techvibes Techies to Watch list and Raincity's Tech Women to Watch lists.

Part of my job is to outreach to communities - both local and international - and I regularly stroll through Gastown to visit other tech hives and attend (too) many events, yet I still meet new people with great startups here in Vancouver which I had no idea about.

Participatory Marketing guru Michael Fergusson was on hand demo-ing a new app from Kinzin, These are my Kids. I didn't get a chance for a demo but plan on paying visit to get a custom presentation and a follow-up podcast.
Anyhow, Vancouver travel photographer (and accomplished car camper) Duane Storey was on hand to chronicle the faces of the local tech mavens (fortunately *everyone* else there had cameras and lens to carefully document each beer and handshake).
I'll drop some more notes at a later date but in the meantime, here's a few of Duane's artifacts from the preceedings as he documented the glowing luminaries and their significant others from time to time.

LPV4
Stumbled upon this post again. LPV3 was very fun. Hope the Raincity crew will make it out to LPV4 on May 21st at the Republic.
