DemoCampVancouver04 is tonight!
Just a quick reminder that tonight is DemoCampVancouver04. The fourth in the series of DemoCampVancouvers inspired by the DemoCamp in Toronto. Come one come all to WorkSpace at 21 Water Street from 5:30p.m.-7:30p.m.
For those who are unfamiliar with the concept, it's a fun event where "people will be presenting innovations on all things ranging from business to charity, high-technology to high-art. The purpose is to encourage a cross-pollination of industries and individuals in hopes that people engaged in unrelated endeavors might provide an enlightening perspective."
People pitch their idea for 30 seconds to the assembled crowd, we vote, the most voted for pitches get to present for 6 minutes total including Questions and Answers.
Extra bonus feature: the crowd will pick two people to present hilarious Battle Decks: "Each contender is given a 6-to-8 page Keynote Presentation on the spot prepared by somebody else and will present their fabulous, ground-breaking, earth-shattering, mind-blowing business/project/idea/nonsense to the crowd, inspiring us all on whatever it is they are revealing."
Tonight due to American Thanksgiving, we'll be missing Rebecca Bollwitt's awesome DemoCampVancouver liveblogging but I'll be live Twiter-ing bandwidth willing. Oh, lastly but not leastly, Boris has arranged free appies and beer afterwards at Flux Bistro sponsored by Communicate.com, Techvibes.com, and PEER 1! See you tonight at 5:30p.m.!
